Companion Camp began as an idea by founders Susanne Carter and Tom Crowe to provide a nontraditional boarding experience for pets. Susanne and Tom retired in September 2013 and have “passed the leash” to new owners Jessica and Tim Schmaltz. Jess and Tim are dedicated to continuing Susanne and Tom’s vision and carrying the Companion Camp legacy into the future. Many contributed to the realization of this concept:
